After learning about different aspects about the island, now we must plan a trip there!

Ways to Travel to the Island

Aruba has several requirements for tourists to complete before visiting the island. The tourist must have a valid passport in the duration of entry and stay. If the tourist has a passport from a a visa required country, then they must have a visa sticker in the passport. They also must have a completely filled out and signed Embarkation and Disembarkation Card. They must also have a valid return or onward ticket. They must have the important documents required for returning to country of origin.

Some of those documents may be valid residence (temporary or permanent) permit, a re-entry permit or the approval of the migration officer that they have a valid reservation for residence (a hotel or apartment) or that they own property in Aruba. It is also mandatory for the tourists to have received required vaccinations and certificate of proof of required countries.

 The most efficient ways to traveling to Aruba is either by taking a flight or cruise. The tourists and even locals take the Queen Beatrix International Airport, where they have access to numerous frequent or single connection flights to most major U.S cities, and daily flights from all major cities around the world. Conveniently, American, Canadian, Caribbean, European, and most South American tourists don't require visas. However, filling out a Embarkation and Disembarkation Card online would be an added convenience.

Where to stay in Aruba 

 There are several notable hotels and guest houses in Aruba for tourists to reside in. Fortunately, the people of Aruba prioritize hospitality for their guests, which makes it quite convenient! Some of the hotels are called: Holiday Inn Resort Aruba- Beach Resort & Casino, Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort, Divi Dutch Village Beach Resort, and Aruba Ocean Villas. Most of these hotels are popular amongst American tourists and have enjoyable attributes. The price ranges for average priced hotels rage from $200 to $400.

Aruba has numerous guest houses for tourists, where the price ranges from $45 to $145, greatly depending on location and provided attributes. Some of the places are called MangooZ, Costa Esmeralda Village, Aruba Beachfront Villa, and Varadero Mariana Airport Guesthouse. 

Aruba's first and only environmental friendly resort is the Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort. The team in charge resort prioritize sustainable tourism and have made significant investments on eco-friendly advancements in technologies and safe products. The average price for this resort is $566. 

Noteworthy Destinations in Aruba 

Aruba is quite a luxurious island with many different attractions and places to visit to make one's visit worth remembering!

One of the main destinations is Oranjestad, Aruba which is the capital. The capital has amazing tourist attractions for couples and families such as: Mueso Historico Aruba, Hooiberg, Renaissance Island, Palm Island, Eagle Beach, National Archaeological Museum, Surfside Beach, Wilhelmina Park, and Mangel Halto. Most of these attractions are for those who enjoy spending time in the outdoors and have an interest in museums. A lot thes beaches are also perfect, photogenic places!


In addition to that, there are also several attractions for those who prefer to travel alone. They would definitely enjoy some places such as: California Lighthouse which is about fifteen minutes away from Eagle Beach, Diana's Pancake Place, a pleasant restaurant for authentic Dutch pancakes, and Alto Vista Chapel, which is a lovely, small church on the northern tip of Aruba.This church was built in 1952 on the location of the first, original Catholic church by a Spanish missionary, Domingo Antonio Silvestre. 

Anyone who knows anything about the fun activities in Aruba would definitely know how eventful the nightlife is! There's numerous beach bars, lounges, and clubs filled with dancing and entertainment. Some of the most popular nightclubs are; Gusto Night Club Aruba, Saloon Bar Aruba, Rock' n' Rock Aruba.

In addition to the traveling and exploring in Aruba, a tourist would definitely want to shop for a bit! Aruba has a great variety in products and goods. There's also interesting products made products such as: locally made crafts, Cuban cigars, and Dutch Cheese. In the downtown area, there are several malls worth visiting! Some of those malls are Renaissance Mall, Renaissance Marketplace, Aventura Mall, Royal Plaza, and large flea markets. 

If someone feels tired from walking, there's free trolleys (streetcars) that can be cruises around the downtown area!

Budget Planning!

After researching about some of the elegant hotels and luxurious tourist attractions, Aruba is quite an expensive trip, just like all the other Caribbean islands. According to Budgetyourtrip.com, an average travel expense for two people for one week costs about $3,643, or 6,558 Awg. Before reaching Aruba, one may spend about $300 per head while flying abroad. The average cost for a hotel for a couple would be about $330. The probable lowest cost of a meal at an inexpensive restaurant would be about $15.00. Visiting attractions, museums, parks, and nightclubs can also add onto how much a tourist may spend in one day, which would be about $111.
